Our recent adventures

During my recent trip to Utah my parents took us to the Hogle Zoo because my little sister was dying to see the new baby elephant (she has always wanted one for a pet). Zuri was adorable to watch playing and looked so small for a 250lb baby! Ironically, I can't seem to find her in this picture I took, how hard is it to miss a baby ELEPHANT? At least I got the mama:)
Jackson LOVED the zoo! We had just been to the San Diego zoo a short month and a half earlier which he definitely liked, but it was amazing to see how such a short time has made him even more aware and interactive with his surroundings. He would get so excited every time he saw a new animal that he would start pointing and shouting ooh ooh! I think his favorite were the penguins because they were swimming, playing, and eating while we were there. I, of course, was just watching him in grandpa's arms as he grabbed my mom and pulled her face right next to his then patted her back and pointed to the penguins. He wanted to make sure grandma was watching:)
Can you tell he is a grandpa's boy? Right from our first day there he started calling him "pa" and wanted him over everyone else; even his own mommy sometimes!
Aunt Lexi introduced Jackson to popsicles and I think that like her, he is addicted for life.
And here is my latest addiction. Jordan and I both want road bikes so bad but we decided we better wait until we're out of school for this big purchase. My dad got us hooked, but for now we will just have to get our fill when we go home to visit and can borrow bikes. Thanks dad for the fun rides!
Sadly, those were all the pics that I took during our trip. I was a little more focused on other things while out there:) It was so fun to go home and see everyone though, we miss you all already!

A few days after getting home we took off to Indiana for the weekend. My sister had a baby girl and we got to be there for the blessing. Jackson loved her and was so sweet with her. He was always trying to kiss her and lay his head on her. We were happy to see that he will make an awesome big brother someday:)
Isn't she so beautiful!

PS Thanks to my friend Jamie who helped me to FINALLY change my background and add some links. I am so inept at blogging and was so sick of looking at those ugly brown and green flowers that I liked a year ago! Now can anyone tell me why my pictures are a little blurry because they are fine when viewed in iPhoto?

Can't help you with your blog, but I'm glad you have one. It is fun to peek in and see your cute family. Hey, let us know when you come to Utah again and maybe we could have a little young woman reunion.

I want a bike too...ahh, someday! If you end up breaking down and buying some before school is done, let me know... maybe I'll convince bryan and we can go on some rides!
P.s. Anytime you need blog help, I am your girl! (But I can only change backgrounds and add links..)
