Halloween in December

Better late than never I guess, here are pics from Halloween! We went to Trax farms to enjoy some fall activities- a hayride and petting zoo!
Jackson loved the tractors!
Not the best picture (it was so cold!) but it was Jackson's first hayride and he had a blast!
Jackson was the most popular kid in the petting zoo thanks to the goldfish crackers he had eaten right before heading in. The animals were swarming him and trying to lick his little hands and face. Eww!

Jackson helped me gut the pumpkin, it was messy but oh so fun!

The night before Halloween we went to our Church's Halloween party where the kids went trunk or treating. Then on Halloween we took Jackson around our neighborhood. He was so fun to watch! He loved just walking around looking at all of the pumpkins and decorations. He completely understood that we were walking from house to house and wouldn't let us skip any. If we tried walking past one that had big steps or was dark he would pull us back to it until we let him walk to the front door. Once there, however, he didn't get the candy thing. He would take a piece and then throw it back into the bowl:) As you can see from the pics, the only thing he did keep (and held onto all night until we let him eat it at home) was a red lollipop. He looked so adorable and was loving all of the attention, everyone stopped to check out the cute little spider!
