Wow, it has been a crazy roller coaster of a month! I'm going to try and do a quick catch up here since this blog is basically my little family journal, so feel free to just look at the pics and ignore all of the writing soon to come:)
Happy Easter! Easter was especially fun this year since Jackson was a little older. We tried taking him to our town's Easter egg hunt the week before Easter, but we got there literally 3 minutes late and missed the entire thing! At least we got to meet up with some friends at the playground and Jackson's little girlfriend Ada was nice enough to share one of her two eggs with him:) So after that failed attempt we went to an Easter egg hunt that our church play group organized and had a blast! At first Jackson just wanted to plop down and eat the candy he had discovered in his first egg, but then he got the egg hunt fever and was LOVING finding all the eggs. He was running around shouting egg! egg! trying to find more long after we were done.

Then came the egg decorating... so maybe he is still a little young for it, but we had fun despite the mess! He loved dropping the eggs and anything else he could find into the colored water. I even found a cute kit that had little face stickers which Jackson loved putting on! It was a good thing I boiled extra because by the time we got through decorating we only had 5 left! Notice the last casualty in the background.
And of course, Easter morning! Jackson was so excited about his new computer. His friend Landon has one that Jackson monopolizes whenever we are at their house so I was looking for an excuse to buy him one.
After checking out his basket, we went outside in search of the eggs, and apparently we were looking for pine cones too since those were also filling his basket:)
