Our last couple of weeks in Pittsburgh were super busy, stressful, and went by way too fast! We tried to spend time with friends, pack & get everything ready to move, Jordan studied and took and passed boards!, we went to some of our favorite places, and I even got to throw my good friend Maretta a baby shower! The good thing about having so much to do was that I didn't have time for much of a breakdown:)
Saying goodbye to some good friends at our favorite Pittsburgh park. These 3 were such good little buddies!
Ice Skating! Jackson has been obsessed with hockey lately so when I found out that our local rec center had a kids skate time each Thursday I knew I had to take him. I wasn't brave enough to take both kids on my own (even though they provide sleds for the little kids) so I waited until Jordan was done with school and could come with us. We had a blast! Both of the boys loved it. Jackson actually did really well until his feet started hurting and he had to quit. The poor kid had a big spot on his ankle where the skate had rubbed all of his skin off. He kept calling it his "wrinkle" for some reason:) I was able to take Jackson one more time before we moved. Hopefully Provo has a similar program!
Mmmmmm! Our last trip to Pamela's to say goodbye to some more friends.
And our last couple of trips to PNC park to watch the Pirates with our good friends from college, Chris & Erika. We sure hope you guys come back to Utah!
We left Pittsburgh and drove out to Indiana to my sister's house. Jordan and my dad left from there and drove straight through to Utah, 26 hours of driving! I was a little bit mad. Jordan was driving the truck towing one of our cars and my dad was in the other car, they were both alone, driving without sleep for over an entire day! Thank goodness they made the trip safely! The little boys and I got to stay at Andrea's for a few days and then fly from there back to Utah. We had a great time hanging out before we left.
This kid cracks me up! He is always "accessorizing" with random objects.
And now we are here in Utah and loving it! It is so good to be close to our families, that is the best part! Jordan is really enjoying his job and I'm loving having him home so much more! I will try to catch up soon with all of the fun things we've been up to!
