Jordan and I each just had a birthday recently. Jordan turned the big 30 and I'm only 2 years behind him. Yikes! Apparently we are looking older too. Jackson did a great job of pointing this out tonight while we were playing I Spy. On his turn he decided to branch out from the colors and said he spied something "bumpy". I gave it my best effort but had to give up and ask what it was. I laughed so hard when he ran up to his daddy and pointed to his "bumpy" forehead. The laughter may have died down a little as he quickly exclaimed, "You have a bumpy forehead too mom!" Thank you Jackson.
Some other funny things that I can recall as of late....
His response, "No, I want a meat burger."
Jackson: "That was a good prayer, huh mom?"
Mom: "Yes, but it was a little short."
Jackson: "Yeah, but it's okay, 3 year olds say short prayers."
While looking at a picture of a pirate Jackson asked, "Why do pirates wear Ipods?"
"Where's lady gaga?" He was looking for his 'green goblin' toy.
After a long day with too many situations where Jackson was getting in trouble for not listening or being disobedient, I had a big talk with him about his behavior. His reply was, "I'm sorry mommy, maybe I can be perfect tomorrow!"
