Tyler is 6 weeks old! He is getting so big, he has even rolled over a few times already (belly to back)! At his last weight check at about 4 1/2 weeks he weighed 9lbs 8oz! He is so sweet and loves being held and snuggled, especially by his mommy! I love that he knows who I am! What a fun and fast 6 weeks it has been. We were lucky enough to have my sister and her family visit, then came my parents & baby sister, Lexi, and lastly Jordan's parents. We've loved having so many of our family members visit and have especially loved having Jordan around a lot more! I wish I had more pictures of everyone's visits, I only got a few random ones.
Jackson with his cousin, Kaden. Jackson loves this fishing game and asks to play it everyday! He loves his cousins Tanner & Kaden even more!
Jackson and Grandpa Lords rolling down a hill in Oakland.
Tyler snuggled up with Grandpa Lords.
Jordan & my dad went to the Football Hall of Fame one day.
Ohiolpyle & Falling Waters with G&G Thompson.
Yum!
Tyler's blessing day. We were only able to have Jordan's parents there as far as family goes, but it was still very special and a great day! Tyler even flashed us his first big smile that day and has been smiling ever since:)
And some random ones of the past month!
I love car seat pictures because they help show just how tiny the baby is! Sadly, he is already filling it out quite a bit more!
Jackson has continued to be such a sweet big brother. He loves holding Tyler, but does not like it if my hands are there helping him because he wants to do it himself. Yet another great way to use the boppy!
Jackson is still obsessed with baseball. Here he is pouring over a program from one of the Pirates games for the millionth time!
Usually Jackson comes and wakes me up in the mornings when he gets up. Not this day. He decided playing with my makeup would be more fun.
Loving our last days of summer!
Jackson loves watching Tyler "move" during his tummy time and likes to get on the floor and do it with him. It is so cute and funny, especially because Jackson gets bored fast and always says, "Jackson all done moving, bye baby Tyler".
I wish we had a bigger, flatter, fenced in backyard, but we still love playing out there anyways!
And we still manage to find plenty of rocks and dirt to play in!
When will he be big enough to play with me???
Jackson showing off his big muscles!
One of our first outings with the boys! I am loving this stroller!
Jordan also took Jackson to his first Fathers & Sons camp out this past month, but sadly, didn't take any pics. It was also the first time Jackson had ever been camping at all. I guess he did great and was having a blast until it was time to go to bed. I called Jordan to see how things were going and this is what I heard in the background: "Camping scary, Jackson all done. Go home big boy bed!" Apparently he talked like this for quite sometime before Jordan was able to get him to sleep. Poor kid, we both found it pretty amusing though, especially Jordan who didn't even know Jackson knew the word scary.
He is definitely getting smarter every day! The poor little guy had a stomach flu this past weekend and wouldn't keep anything down so we got him some ginger ale. We've never given him soda before so he was loving it! We made sure to tell him it was just because he was sick since it would help his tummy. So what does this clever kid say to me yesterday, 3 days after he was over the flu? "Mommy, Jackson sick. Jackson tummy hurt, Jackson need soda pop!"
