Wow is Jackson a chatty kid! He literally NEVER stops talking. I wonder where he gets it from?...hmmm. :) It's funny to listen to him because I realize the things that I say a lot. For instance, every time I'm carrying both the kids he says, "Wow, these boys sure are heavy!" Or when we were driving the other day, out of the blue he said, "Are you kidding me cars? Come on!" I'm teaching him such great things.
Here are some of the cute/funny things he has said in the past couple of months:
Jackson was watching How to Train Your Dragon with my mom and there was a part when one of the little viking boys said something about packing his undies to go on a trip. Jackson turns to my mom and laughing says, "Vikings where underwear!?"
Jackson loves when we tell him stories! Jordan is really good at it, but I am no good at making them up on the spot. Instead I tell him bible stories or stories about Jordan and I. One night after telling him about when Jordan and I got married Jackson told me that he wanted to marry Ellie, his cousin. I told him he couldn't marry his cousin so he said ok, I want to marry Bennett (Ellie's brother). When I told him he had to marry a girl he insisted that it would be Ellie, even if she was his family. :)
We were at Maretta's house and she has a picture of Christ on her wall holding a large sheperd's cane. Jackson asked Maretta what it was and when she told him it was a cane, he asked, "Oh, is that for fighting people?"
Jackson talks all the time about how much he loves his family. He loves when all four of us play together and always says, "I need my family!" in order to corral us into whatever activity he has planned for us. It pretty much melts my heart every time.
