We went to Triple B Farms for some fall activities; I love the fall, it is my favorite time of year! Jackson got to ride his first horse (well pony really). He loved it and was so cute!
Jackson and I cleaned out our pumpkin and Jordan carved it. We started on it pretty late in the evening so we kept it really simple. Even so, by the time we finished Jackson was too grumpy to pose for a picture.
Jordan had to go to Ohio for a review course and I hate being alone at night, so my wonderful sister and her family came out to stay with me and the kids for the weekend! It was a quick trip, but we did a lot and had a blast!
They were here for our ward's trunk or treat party. We had quite the spider theme, the 3 boys were all spiderman, Brooklyn was a spider, and our trunk was decked out in spiderwebs and a giant spider. Poor Tyler didn't quite fit in as a Lion, but he sure looked cute!
The older 3 boys were all too busy for pictures so I pretty much just got a few shots of what these 2 got to do all weekend:)
The next weekend Jordan's sister Breanne and her husband Cole came to visit. We were able to go to Kirtland and also show them some of our favorite things here in Pittsburgh. They were also here for Halloween so they helped us go trick or treating with the kids. We had a blast! Jackson really got into Halloween this year, it was so much fun!
We've also spent a lot of time playing at home due to all of the sickness. Finger paint has become our new favorite art activity!
I've also been trying to run when I get a chance, but it is much harder to find time to exercise these days. I usually end up taking Jackson down to the basement with me and let him play with all of our sports equipment. He likes to stretch with me and take a turn on the treadmill too. Here he is stretching. I kept wondering why he made this face like he was in pain every time we stretched. Then I noticed Jordan making the exact face stretching before one of our runs:)
This is Jackson's usual running attire. My old running shoes and my hot pink fuzzy socks. I have no idea why, but he insists on wearing these when we exercise.
And this cute little guy has been busy growing! I can't believe he is almost 4 months old! We go to the doctor tomorrow so I will have more on that soon!
