Jordan
Jordan has the biggest news, he graduated this past weekend! I am so proud of him! He got an award for Academic Achievement that was given out to the top 5 students in the class and I'm sure he was at least in the top 3. Pretty impressive, especially considering that his program here at Pitt is ranked number 3 in the nation! Way to go Jord!!! Now that he is done with school he is busy putting in 2 library sessions a day as he studies for his boards. Almost there!
We haven't decided yet where we will be moving, but we have had a lot of good offers. People seem to like my hubby:) He was even sent this beautiful bouquet of flowers from one of the anesthesia groups:)
Ashley
I've been going back to physical therapy. Sadly, my knees have been hurting for the past 4 or 5 months and I haven't even been running at all. This time my MRI's showed moderate cartilage damage to both knees. This pretty much means that I will be having scopes sometime down the line and eventual knee replacements way down the line. Right now we are hoping the PT will ease the chronic pain postponing surgery and *hopefully* even allow me to run a little bit again.
Jackson
This boy has a new obsession. He still loves baseball and football, but he is so into hockey right now! It all started when we stopped by the rec center to use the potty during a trip to the playground. There was a hockey game going on so we stayed and watched for a little while. It has now become a ritual to go watch the hockey players after we are done at the playground. Jackson talks all of the time about how he is going to be a hockey player when he grows up (along with a dad and he also wants to chew gum). He used to use my soup ladle as a hockey stick and a tennis ball as his puck until we noticed some cheap little hockey sticks for sale at the grocery store a few days ago. They are his absolute favorite toy! Unfortunately, Jackson is getting to the age where he doesn't care for getting his picture taken. Even when he will look at me he has to pull some weird face. He even told me today that hockey players don't get their picture taken.
Tyler
Ty turned 9 months! I can't believe it. He weighed in at 20lbs 6oz and was 28 3/4in tall. Surprisingly this is under 50% for weight and about 75% for height. He looks bigger than that to me! He had 3 teeth at his 9 month appointment but just had his 4th one poke through 2 days ago. Tyler says mama, dada, and ball. He army crawls but isn't really up on his knees yet, but I think he is close. He loves to clap, jump in his jumper, walk holding our hands, and play with whatever his big brother has. He also LOVES the song popcorn popping and will stop in the middle of a crying fit if you start singing it to him. He smiles and giggles and does his little popcorn fingers right along with us:) He also loves his mommy:) He is still a huge mommy's boy and I love it! He is also a big snuggler which I love! Especially because by this age Jackson was too busy to cuddle. But not Tyler, every time I get him out of his crib he just likes to snuggle for a little while. While he gives lots of hugs, he doesn't give out kisses too often, but when he does, it is his idea and completely out of the blue which make them extra special! Tyler also likes to sing along with me at night when I rock him before bedtime. It melts my heart hearing him.
Just like his cousin Zach, he HATES touching grass!
Life has been pretty busy for us lately. We've done quite a bit of traveling and have been preoccupied with our job search. More to come on all of that later! But here are some random pictures from in between the craziness!
My handsome boys!
Jackson wanted to pretend play that we were at church so he set his little chairs up in front of the stairs and we took turns saying prayers :)
Don't they look excited about getting a picture?
We had some friends over for part of conference. My boys loved watching their little baby Archie:)
We made cake pops one night for FHE. Jordan and I didn't think they tasted too good, but Jackson LOVED them!

Congrats Jordan!! Way to go, we hope that your job can bring you out here. The pictures of the boys are so cute. They are getting so big. Jackson must have the sensitive Thompson nose. Mara has it too. Cute family!
