January-May 2012

It has been a long time since I've blogged. Unfortunately I don't even have that many pictures of the kids over the past 8 months. My excuses... growing a baby and all of the wonderful symptoms that come with it, building a house, moving into a new house, and my splash pad project. Life has been pretty busy lately. However, since it is only going to get busier when the baby comes, it's time to update the blog with a quick catch up post!

Back in the beginning of the year we went with the Thompson family to take all of the kids ice skating. This was one of their Christmas gifts from Grandma & Grandpa and it was a blast! I was surprised that even Tyler tried it.

Annual Valentine's Day cookie making! I think Ty just ate the frosting rather than put it on the cookies.

Don't they look so appetizing!!!
We had to travel up North a ton for a few months to pick out house stuff. My parents were so great to watch the kids for us every time so that we didn't have to drag them around with us. One time my dad pulled out some wood scraps and a hammer and nails for Jackson to play with. Best idea ever! He had a blast building a ramp for his cars.

Hot chocolate! Wait a minute, Ty what is on your face?
Let's take a closer look...
Yes, I may have spit a marshmallow through my straw right at my brother's face!
We also tried making jello jigglers for FHE one night. The boys weren't too sure about them. It was so funny, neither of them liked touching the jello.

These two boys have been the absolute best of friends lately!
We had a fun Easter this year. The boys loved all of the egg hunts, coloring eggs, and getting baskets. I'm not sure how much they understood about the real meaning of Easter this year but that's okay, we had a blast celebrating!

We joined Wes & Susan's family and Lee & Phyllis on a camping trip to Arches for spring break. It was a lot of fun and the boys especially loved "rock climbing"! They think they are as big as their older cousins!

April sometime... and I thought my belly was big then! Ha!
Tyler likes to dress himself. Here is how he put his shorts on one day...

And here is how I found Jackson that same day. Wearing what he called his "super hero boots!"
One day in May we went to the park by my mom's house not expecting the splash pad to be open yet. The kids were thrilled when they figured out it was turned on! I can't wait until we fundraise enough to build one here in Ephraim!

An afternoon with friends at Palisades. If this picture doesn't convince Jordan I need a new camera without a time delay I don't know what will!
Jackson's first shiner. He fell off a wooden swing that then came back and hit him right by his eye. Poor kid, I felt so bad for him!
Scandinavian Days. My parents and sister came down to help us out with the kids for the weekend so that Jordan and I could sit at our splash pad booth. It was our first fundraiser and it was pretty successful!

Here is Lee dressed as a turkey for their float! It was awesome!
Playing baseball in the new house in their church clothes one morning while Jordan and I were getting ready. Needless to say we have since set some ground rules for the new house!
We woke up one morning to airplane noises and went out to see this crop duster flying EXTREMELY close to our house. The boys thought it was so cool and watched it all morning.
